Position Overview
The Field Engineer plays a critical support role within the project delivery team, ensuring the smooth coordination of field documentation, quality control, and construction progress tracking. Working closely with forepersons, supervisors, and project managers, the Field Engineer helps maintain alignment between site operations and project requirements through proactive communication, document verification, and regular field reviews.

Key Responsibilities

Site QA/QC Site visits Attend trade Meetings Weekly site reviews Mark up progress drawing, review on site with foreman Weekly progress vs schedule review and report Project M&E
Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Building Systems, or a related field 2+ years of experience in the ICI construction or mechanical contracting industry Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and/or sheet metal systems Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills Proficiency with MS Office and field documentation tools Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to active job sites across the GTA

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
