Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Estimator/ Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in estimating bids and overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with our mission of providing exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

Analyzing project documents:

Reviewing blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents to understand the scope of work.

Estimating costs:

Determining the cost of materials, labor, equipment, and other resources required for mechanical systems installations.

Sourcing materials and vendors:

Researching and negotiating prices with suppliers and subcontractors.

Preparing bids and proposals:

Creating detailed cost estimates for potential clients and projects. Assisting in the management mechanical projects from start to finish. Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with design teams and technicians to ensure project specifications are met. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues. Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

Proven experience in project management within the construction or Mechanical industry. Strong knowledge of construction estimating practices. Proficient in estimating and project management software (e.g., bluebeam / planswift, procore). Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar tools is an asset. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
