As a Mechanical Estimator with Jayden's Mechanical, you will become part of a team of stellar employees who are

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

The Mechanical Estimator would be responsible for sourcing and targeting a variety of projects and providing

accurate and effective estimates where applicable. The successful candidate will have experience in the

construction industry and be able to assess project plans, materials, labour costs, and other related expenses. The

Estimator will be responsible for ensuring that all estimates are accurate and complete, as well as providing timely

updates to department managers. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented and able to work

independently with minimal supervision.

Prepare estimates for construction projects.
?

Attend walk throughs and site meetings to determine project scope.
?

Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor

estimates.
?

Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and

formulate estimates and resolve issues.
?

Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
?

Review material and labour requirements to decide on the most cost-effective solution.
?

Develop a project plan and timeline for completion of the project.
?

Conflict resolution and astute problem solving.
?

Performing additional responsibilities as assigned.

The position is based at our head office just outside of Exeter Ontario. Monday through Friday 7am - 5pm.

Qualifications Include:

The ideal candidate would,
?

5 Years Mechanical estimating experience
?

Highly organized and competent individual ready for a fast-paced work environment
?

Experience with Field Service Management Software an asset
?

Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
?

Team player with proven ability to work independently and cohesively
?

Excellent communication skills and ability to professionally represent the organization with all

stakeholders
?

Accountable problem solver with the ability to oversee projects
