Job Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Estimator specializing in HVAC to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, knowledge of commercial construction, and a desire to learn and grow in the role. Experience in mechanical estimating would be a benefit, but is not strictly necessary.

Responsibilities

:

Utilize software tools such as AutoBid and Bluebeam to design and price HVAC projects. Engage in discussions with clients, suppliers and consultants regarding designs, drawings and pricing options. Provide accurate construction estimating for HVAC installations. Collaborate with our HVAC installations crews to review costs, installation methods, etc. with the goals of improving our estimating.

Skills

A general ability to utilize technology is a must, with experience in Bluebeam, AutoBid and AutoCAD being major assets. Strong communication skills to effectively manage client, consultant and supplier Knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC installations and repairs. Ability to provide precise pricing estimates based on project requirements and materials needed.
