Job Description

:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Electrans Technologies Ltd. (ETL). The Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in the design and development of our mechatronics vehicle systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical design and testing of our product, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and commercialization of the technology. Key Responsibilities:

• Work on mechanical design and development of our vehicle mechatronics system technology
• Strong understanding of robotic linkages and dynamics
• Experience with active elements such as pneumatic and electrical actuators
• Experience with design for manufacturing and simulation
• Conduct testing and analysis of prototype designs to ensure product performance and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers to ensure the successful development and commercialization of the technology
• Contribute to the development of project plans and schedules, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Participate in the development and maintenance of technical documentation and intellectual property
• Develop mechanical locking mechanisms for electrical connectors

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in the robotics/automation industry
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Experience with rapid prototyping (3D printers and shop tools) and testing techniques
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with GD&T

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year Benefits:
