Role: Mechanical Engineer/Designer

Responsibilities:

• Be involved with preliminary design and engineering duties
• Prepare detailed design calculations, layouts, and reports.
• Partner with other disciplines to come up with solutions to complex issues to meet clients\' needs
• Mentor junior staff
• Take a lead within projects to ensure timelines
• Be involved in all aspects of projects - contractors, subcontractors, site visit, and client facing responsibilities
• Have an excellent sense of urgency, able to meet tight deadlines, and problem solve unexpected challenges.
• Be involved with business development, and build client relationships

Requirements:

• Registered or eligible for registration with PEO, APEGA, or other professional association
• Must have excellent time management skills, be able to delegate, and be a self starter
• Analytically inclined with a strong sense of problem solving
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other disciplines
• Effective communication with ability to bring forward ideas and solve challenging, complex issues.
