We're looking for a mechanical designer who's hungry to own the entire drafting and design workflow for our silencer and fabrication product lines. You'll take concepts all the way to production-ready drawings, build detailed BOMs and cut lists, and work directly with our shop to keep schedules and lead times on track.
This role isn't just "make drawings and go home." We want someone who sees waste, fixes it, and continuously improves how we manufacture. You'll help identify cost-savings, standardize components, optimize designs for fabrication, and strengthen our product catalog as we grow.
What you'll take charge of:
Creating all technical drawings: sales, production, assemblies, and detailed part files
Maintaining and improving BOMs, cut lists, and drawing standards
Supporting scheduling, load planning, and lead-time forecasting
Identifying design improvements and cost-reduction opportunities
Working with engineering, sales, and the shop floor to solve real-world fabrication challenges
Helping refine and expand our silencer product catalog
You're a fit if you:
Think in 3D and design with manufacturability in mind
Are fluent in CAD (SolidWorks/Inventor/Fusion/etc.)
Thrive in a fast-moving, hands-on fabrication environment
Want to improve processes, not just follow them
Can balance design work with scheduling, coordination, and continuous improvement
If you want a role where your designs actually get built--and you play a key part in shaping how our products and processes evolve--this is it.
Experience
Proven experience in mechanical design or drafting within engineering or construction environments.
Proficiency with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Pro/ENGINEER is essential.
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, schematics, system design, and assembly processes.
Familiarity with Bluebeam, 2D animation tools, and construction documentation is preferred.
Knowledge of mechanical systems integration within various industries such as manufacturing or construction is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate technical drawings and schematics.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects. This position offers a dynamic environment where innovation meets precision engineering--ideal for professionals passionate about advancing their careers in mechanical design through impactful projects across diverse industries.
