We are seeking a skilled

Mechanical Designer and Builder

who combines technical design expertise with hands-on fabrication and assembly experience. This role ensures a seamless workflow from concept to installation, maintaining precision, efficiency, and quality throughout every stage of the project.

Key Responsibilities

Design Development:

Create detailed technical drawings and 3D models using

SolidWorks

or other CAD software, ensuring designs meet industry standards and project specifications.

Prototyping:

Develop and test prototypes to validate design concepts, making adjustments based on performance results and feedback.

Fabrication Oversight:

Supervise the manufacturing process of mechanical components, collaborating with machinists and fabricators to ensure accurate production.

Assembly and Installation:

Oversee the assembly of mechanical systems, ensuring proper integration of all components, and manage on-site installation as required.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct inspections and testing to ensure that all systems meet performance and quality standards.

Project Coordination:

Work closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to align design and build activities with project goals, timelines, and budgets.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Education:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a related field preferred.

Technical Proficiency:

Expertise in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

Hands-On Skills:

Practical experience with fabrication techniques, assembly procedures, and relevant machinery.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to identify and resolve design and construction challenges efficiently.

Attention to Detail:

Accuracy in both design documentation and physical construction to maintain high-quality outcomes.

Communication:

Strong ability to convey technical information and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
