Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed drawings and plans using various CAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and project managers to ensure that designs meet specifications and project requirements.

Duties

Draft and prepare detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and Inventor. Utilize Bluebeam for document management and collaboration on project drawings. Assemble components of designs into cohesive systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with engineers to develop system designs that meet project specifications. Review and revise designs based on feedback from team members or clients. Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions for future reference. Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress and address any challenges encountered during the drafting process. Utilize NavisWorks for 3D modeling and visualization of projects.

Qualifications

Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, Inventor, and NavisWorks is essential. Strong drafting skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Experience in system design and assembly is preferred. Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, and specifications effectively. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members across various departments. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. A degree or certification in engineering technology, drafting, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
