We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in assembling components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and equipment in a Fabrication environment. The Mechanical Assembler will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet quality standards and are assembled efficiently.

Duties

• Assemble mechanical components and systems based on schematics and blueprints.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to fabricate parts as necessary.
• Perform quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Operate forklifts for the movement of materials within the warehouse as needed.
• Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies or defects.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in assembly or fabrication.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety standards.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
