Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Mechanic Helper to join our maintenance team. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mechanical repairs and maintenance. The role involves assisting skilled mechanics with routine tasks, supporting the upkeep of machinery, and ensuring smooth operations across our facility. Candidates should be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and capable of working safely in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Assist experienced mechanics with diagnosing and repairing equipment issues Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and part replacements Support in the installation and assembly of mechanical components Use basic hand tools and equipment safely under supervision Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times during work activities Document work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors Support inventory management by organizing tools and parts as needed

Skills

Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Prior experience in maintenance or mechanical work is a plus but not necessary; on-the-job training will be provided
