Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Meat Carver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food production and preparation, with a focus on meat cutting and food safety standards. This role involves preparing high-quality meat products for retail or food service, ensuring customer satisfaction through precise and efficient work. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience, along with strong knife skills, is highly desirable. The Meat Carver will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and safety of our products while adhering to all food handling regulations.

Responsibilities

Skillfully carve, portion, and prepare various types of meat products according to established standards Ensure all meat is handled safely and in compliance with food safety regulations Package meat products accurately for retail or food service purposes Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and rotating products appropriately Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent cross-contamination or accidents Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently and effectively Provide excellent customer service by addressing any product inquiries or special requests

Qualifications

Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or related culinary fields Strong knife skills and expertise in meat cutting techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience working in a kitchen, restaurant, or food industry environment preferred Ability to operate packaging equipment and handle multiple tasks efficiently Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Prior experience in culinary arts or food industry roles is a plus
