Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Meat Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in food handling and preparation. As a Clerk you will be required to clean up the department at the end of the day/ shift with high level understanding of food safety standards. Stocking and helping customers.

Responsibilities

Ensure all food items are handled in accordance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Assist customers by providing knowledgeable recommendations and answering questions regarding meat products. Collaborate staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of meat . Monitor inventory levels of meat products and report any shortages or quality issues.

Skills

Proficient operations with a strong understanding of food handling practices. Experience in the food industry, particularly in meat preparation and clean up Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety regulations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Effective time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
