Part-time Meat (Clean-up) Clerk

at our

Esquimalt

Schedule Requirements:

Must be available closing and weekends Part-time or full-time 24-32 hours a week

Some of what you will do:

As a Meat Department Clerk at Country Grocer, you'll be a vital part of our team, helping customers find the perfect cuts of meat while delivering top-notch service with a smile! You'll thrive in our lively environment, where you'll get hands-on with meat preparation, keep our displays looking fantastic, and ensure the department stays clean and well-stocked. Your keen eye for detail and passion for customer service will make shopping at our store a delightful experience for everyone who stops by!

What we need from you:

Enthusiasm and a can-do attitude! Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs with ease. A sharp eye for detail and accuracy, even when things get busy. Great at managing time, following directions, and staying organized. Happy to work both independently and as part of a team. Passionate about delivering top-notch customer service. Committed to following department procedures and safe work practices. Eager to learn and open to feedback and coaching.

Experience and Education:

1-2 years previous experience in a Meat Department an asset but no required Customer Service experience is an asset Current Food Safe certification is an asset, but we are happy to help you get it!
