As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting various types of meat products while ensuring that all safety and hygiene standards are maintained. Your role will be essential in providing high-quality products to our customers and contributing to an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities

Perform meat cutting tasks including slicing, dicing, and grinding various types of meat. Ensure all meat products are prepared according to company standards for quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat preparation area, adhering to food safety regulations. Package meat products for display and sale, ensuring proper labeling and pricing. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about meat products and offering recommendations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the department.

Experience

Previous experience in meat cutting or as a butcher is preferred with 1-2 years of experience. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in food preparation. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
