As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing, cutting, and packaging various types of meat products while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen and providing fresh, quality meat to our customers.

Duties

Perform meat cutting and preparation tasks according to established standards and recipes. Ensure all meat products are cut, packaged, and labeled accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat preparation area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist customers with their meat selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and excellent customer service. Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate needs to management. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all products. Collaborate with kitchen staff to support overall food preparation efforts.

Requirements

Previous experience in meat cutting or as a butcher is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling and food safety practices is essential. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Physical stamina for standing for long periods and lifting heavy items as needed. A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering quality products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
