Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Meat Clerk to join our team in a fast-paced food processing environment. As a Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and meet quality standards. This position requires a strong commitment to food safety and sanitation practices, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Duties

Package finished products according to specifications and quality standards. Sanitate work areas and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment. Assist in meat cutting and fabrication processes as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations throughout the packaging process. Operate packaging machinery and perform basic troubleshooting when necessary. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Maintain accurate records of packaged products and inventory levels.

Skills

Experience in meat cutting or butchery is not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality is a must. Knowledge or willingness to learn about food safety practices and regulations within the food industry. Ability to sanitize work areas thoroughly to uphold hygiene standards. Excellent attention to detail to ensure product quality during packaging. Strong teamwork skills with a focus on collaboration and communication. Ability to organize workspace and manage time effectively. Ability to lift heavy items of at least 75 lbs.
