Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment, engaging students, and delivering high-quality instruction. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to educate diverse groups of learners effectively.
Duties
Teach Math to students Grade 3-12. English is required but French instructor is an asset. Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress. Communicate effectively with students and staff regarding educational goals and student needs. Multitasking in teaching students in a ratio 3:1 or 4:1.
Qualifications
Proven experience in an instructional role or related field is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively. A passion for education and a commitment to student success. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. At least a high school diploma is required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.65 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
