APASS Education is an educational consulting company supporting students in reaching their academic goals. We also offer a range of IB, AP, BC curriculum-based courses, exam preparation courses taught by experienced educators with proven track records. Currently we are looking for suitable candidates who can teach high school Math and Science subjects at our Vancouver location. Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Program Director to meet students\xe2\x80\x99 academic goals
• Provide academic instructions and review for Grades 8-12 regular Math & Science courses of the BC curriculum in a small group setting or for one-on-one sessions
• Prepare the teaching materials (exercises, quizzes, tests, assignments) and deliver the lessons on time with effective results
• Plan lessons accordingly after assessing and adjusting to student\xe2\x80\x99s needs
• Review students\' academic progress, monitor and evaluate students\xe2\x80\x99 performance
• Advise education department of student\xe2\x80\x99s progress & needs

Qualifications:

• Expertise in the subject area is required
• Related teaching experience of Math & Science courses based off the BC curriculum
• BC Teacher\'s certificate with experience teaching in BC schools is an asset
• Bachelor of Education is preferred, Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Education is highly valued
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in the related field is required. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree is held in high regard
• Passionate about education and student achievement
• Understands learning differences and students\xe2\x80\x99 individual needs
• Proficient in using online teaching platforms such as Zoom and Google
• Classroom to deliver classes

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Casual, Freelance Salary: $30.00-$40.00 per hour Education:

• Bachelor\'s Degree (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• BC teaching certificate (preferred)
