Math Instructor / Tutor

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Teaching Math to students between Grades 1 - 12, using the Mathnasium Method\xc2\xae
- Being Energetic and Fun when teaching new concepts to students
- Willingness to learn a new way of thinking about math
- Relevant tasks related to teaching the students such as administrative assistance and other related duties as assigned.
- Exceptional Math Skills ( We test your math!)
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to professionally interact with students and parents.
- Energetic, Confident, and Caring personality.
- Professional and Reliable
- Enjoys working in a team environment
- University graduate or current university student from a program with an emphasis in math.
- Ability to teach students confidently in high-school math courses (Grades 9-12).
- Should be able to motivate students while they learn and allow them to work on new concepts while maintaining a positive environment.
Part-time hours: 9-12 per week Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- What is your weekly availability?
- Are you able to commute to Cawthra and Lakeshore in Mississauga?
- Secondary School (preferred)
