Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and management of materials within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to safety and accuracy is paramount.

Duties

Load and unload materials using forklifts, crane, clamp truck, and other heavy equipment Pick and prepare orders accurately utilizing order picker and warehouse management system (WMS) Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate documentation Operate heavy equipment safely for material handling, including forklifts and construction-related machinery Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and cycle counts Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency Support warehouse distribution activities, including loading trucks and organizing storage areas Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals

Qualifications

Prior warehouse experience preferred, especially in shipping & receiving or distribution roles Mechanical knowledge or experience operating heavy equipment such as forklift, crane, clamp truck, or load & unload machinery Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus Experience with order picking and using various warehouse equipment is desirable Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures in a fast-paced environment Construction or industrial background is advantageous but not required Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $17.26-$22.06 per hour
