The Opportunity:

For our

Arborg, MANITOBA facility, we are seeking a:

Material Handler - Day Shift

Responsibilities:

Loading, unloading and moving products and materials to the designated locations in the warehouse and production; and assisting in picking and placing materials orders


Loading and unloading transfer order materials. Effective storage and retrieval of production material requirements. Monitor, maintain, and operate equipment and materials in safe and optimum condition. Ensures that no product moves from the shipping/receiving area until documentation for all products received or shipped is properly completed. Demonstrate the accountabilities under Vidir's Safety Management System and Continuous Improvement Programs and lead by example.

Qualifications:

A combination of education and experience will be considered. Experience working in a warehouse environment Forklift experience (e.g., performing basic operation such as driving forwards, driving backwards, lifting and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas safely, etc.) Experience working in a team environment Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, manufacturing principles Basic computer skills Basic literacy and numeracy skills
