Masonry Foreman

The Masonry Foreman will organize and lead the masonry crew. A key candidate must be proficient at providing support, guidance, and direction to fellow crew members on construction projects.

Job description:



Promotes a culture of health, safety, and environmental protection on the project by taking an active role in the implementation of the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to achieve compliance of Atlantis Rausch HS&E standards, applicable OH&S Acts, regulations, and codes responsible for formwork tasks including but not limited to:

-Manage and run a crew size of up to 10 individuals

-Excellent organizational skills

-Foresee construction issues and resolve quickly to keep the project on track

-Manage CO's, CCO's, SI's, RFI's, record workers hours daily

-Complete or supervise the layout of brickwork and CMU according to drawing or Blueprints to ensure accurate placement and alignment

-Must be able to set up and gauge brick, profiles (speed poles) to maximize efficiency

-Effective communicate with all persons involved in the projects

-Inform immediately of any deficiencies which include mistakes, errors, or damages (property or equipment, etc.) Continually working towards preventing deficiencies.

-Continuously monitors all works against job specifications to ensure the quality and accuracy of the work performed.

-Conduct safety meetings

-Collaborate with project managers to plan work sequences, estimate materials, and adhere to budgets-

Supervise junior team members and coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth workflow

-Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the masonry process

-Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site and maintain a clean work environment

-Assist in budgeting and procurement of materials as needed for projects

-Manage relationships with customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies

-Train, mentor and promote a healthy and safe work culture

Education and Experiences:



Minimum 5 years as a crew leader with a masonry company

Minimum 5-10 years with a masonry company

Proficiency reading blueprints, specifications.

Excellent knowledge of exterior brick wall assemblies and Fero Brackets systems.

Licenses and Certifications

Forklift operator certification or willing to be certified.

Qualified applicants must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
