We are seeking a Martial Arts Instructor to join our Therapeutic Recreation Team. The successful candidate is both a group facilitator and martial artist working in our Learning Disabilities & Mental Health program. Candidate would be responsible for delivering the martial arts and physical training components of our Therapeutic Martial Arts programs to children and youth ages 9-18. These are manualized evidence informed programs combining martial arts training with psychoeducation, mindfulness, and emotion regulation strategies, to support the mental health of children & youth.As our Martial Arts Instructor, you will: * Facilitate the Martial Arts and physical training portions of CDIs Therapeutic Martial Arts programs, using a combination of Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques, as directed by the program manual.
