Purpose/Objective: The Marketing Technologist\xe2\x80\x99s primary purpose is to support our philosophy of being a supplier of choice. You will accomplished this by streamlining our marketing efforts and make them more effective by identifying and implementing the best technology solutions into different areas of our business, such as customer relationship management, email marketing, and social media marketing. Key duties:
Contract length: 8 months Salary: $27.00-$29.00 per hour Benefits:

- Marketing Technology Implementation and Integration: Identifying and implementing the best marketing automation and other marketing software, integrating them with the company\xe2\x80\x99s existing technology stack and ensuring all marketing strategies align with our company\xe2\x80\x99s objectives.
- Managing Key Processes and Marketing Databases: Managing marketing data, migrating data from old to new systems and use marketing tools to streamline marketing workflows.
- Testing and Analytics: Set up A/B or multivariate tests and provide reports on how they perform. Collect, monitor, and analyze data using KPIs, such as click-through rate, conversion rate, or cost-per-lead.
- Retail Support and Problem Solving: Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction. Ensure that marketing processes and technologies are effective and working to improve the experience and service for retail customers.
- Training: Train our marketing team and retail partners, when applicable, on using new technology solutions, such as project management software, digital advertising platforms, and database management and analytics
- SEO Optimization: Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization. Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization.
- Strategy: Suggest ways to increase customer acquisition, lead generation, and revenue
- Marketing: Support marketing team in other areas as needed.
- Working knowledge of marketing technology software, such as Salesforce, HubSpot CRM, and Adobe Analytics
- Expertise in SQL, HTML, and JavaScript
- Ability to translate data into easy-to-understand reports

- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.
- A minimum three years of work experience as Marketing Technologist or in a similar role.
- Experience in the pet industry and/or health industry preferred.
- Social Media and Marketing background a bonus
- Available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
- Maximum 30 years old at the start of contract
- A post-secondary graduate
- A Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada or person granted refugee status in Canada
- Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial legislation and regulations
- A first-time participant in the NRC-IRAP Youth Grant Program
- General office demands such as typing (while in office)
- Hybrid (home, office) \xe2\x80\x93 1-2 office days per week
