BIOVECTRA Inc. is a leading bio-science business in Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, focused on contract manufacturing and product development of active pharmaceutical ingredients, pharmaceutical intermediates, and bioreagents.

BIOVECTRA Inc. has an opening for a Marketing Student. This is a 4 month term (May- August) position located in Charlottetown, PEI.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Supporting marketing campaign planning and execution.
• Writing copy for social media posts, promotional email blasts, and other marketing collateral.
• Assisting in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels and digital advertisements.
• Assisting in the management of website SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
• Tracking and measuring the results of marketing initiatives.
• Organizing and distributing marketing materials.

The successful candidate for this position should have:

• Applied understanding of basic marketing principles (marketing, public relations, or communications student).
• Familiarity with major social media strategies and platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter).
• Excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and successfully multi-task and take initiative in a dynamic, deadline driven, fast-paced environment.
• Basic photography, image, and video editing skills.
• Previous experience with the use of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro), social media management tools (Hootsuite), and customer relationship management systems (Pardot), a plus.

Entry: $18 per hour
