Genoa Design International is currently recruiting a Marketing Student to join our Team for the upcoming Fall 2023 semester!

WHO WE ARE
Genoa Design International has been providing production design and 3D modeling services to shipbuilding and offshore industries from here in Newfoundland and Labrador since 1995. In that time, we\xe2\x80\x99ve become one of the most sought-after production design firms in the North American shipbuilding market.

With a team of designers, engineers, naval architects, administrators, and technical support staff dispersed between locations, Genoa provides expertise and dedicated support throughout the shipbuilding process. Currently, Genoa is active in major government initiatives such as Canada\xe2\x80\x99s National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS) and in commercial contracts in shipyards throughout North America.

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL DO
Working within our Marketing and Communications Team, you will foster an engaging and people-first work culture. As part of that your responsibilities will be to:

• Develop a comprehensive corporate social media calendar for 2024.
• Assist with marketing initiatives, including but not limited to conducting primary and secondary market research, trade show planning, internal and external corporate events, writing content for internal newsletters and supporting efforts of our charities of choice.
• Provide marketing and communications support to other corporate divisions.
• Perform other related duties as required.

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL NEED IN YOUR TOOLKIT

• Must be currently enrolled in a co-operative program, preferably with an interest in Marketing.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a face-paced, multi-disciplined environment.
• Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office (experience with PowerPoint is essential.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
