Position Overview:



The Marketing Specialist will manage diverse marketing projects, including print ads, social media, and annual reports, while overseeing key digital and branding efforts. This role requires an organized and detail-oriented professional with experience in both digital and traditional marketing who thrives in a collaborative environment.

What will you do?



Develop and coordinate print advertisements, ensuring consistent brand messaging and design alignment. Create, schedule, and monitor Facebook posts to engage our audience and enhance brand presence. Manage social media platforms, optimize digital marketing effectiveness, and organize media events to enhance CCDF and SMEDCO's visibility. Track social media metrics and optimize content to maximize reach and engagement. Develop and coordinate marketing materials such as Annual Reports, brochures, signage, corporate gear, and articles to support business growth. Lead the creation of annual reports for CCDF and SMEDCO, coordinating with team members and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and quality. Ensure all marketing content and design elements reflect CCDF and SMEDCO's professional image and brand identity. Lead the design and maintenance of the CCDF and SMEDCO website, ensuring alignment with approved programs and functional links. Oversee the amalgamation and maintenance of company websites, ensuring functionality, consistency, and ease of use. Update web content regularly to reflect new information, client stories, and relevant blog posts. Work closely with clients to collect and develop stories that highlight their successes and showcase the impact of our services. Act as the Chair of the Marketing Committee, organizing meetings, leading discussions, and driving collaborative marketing strategies. Support brand recognition efforts by developing a consistent brand message across all platforms. Assist in brand development efforts and maintain consistent brand messaging across all channels. Potentially lead the design process for a new logo for CCDF and SMEDCO, working with designers and stakeholders to create a memorable and representative brand identity. Develop and execute advertising strategies for upcoming events, utilizing both digital and traditional platforms to maximize attendance and visibility. Write and edit blog posts that highlight industry trends, company updates, and client stories. Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, goals, and messaging. Identify opportunities for process improvements in marketing and communications to enhance efficiency. Explore innovative approaches to engage and attract clients, generating value-added ideas for business development. Provide reports on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Track and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools, making data-driven recommendations to improve effectiveness.

What qualifications are we looking for?



An Undergraduate degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in Marketing, communication, Journalism, or a related field. Two (2) years of experience in marketing, preferably with experience in both digital and print media. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered. Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe InDesign and Illustrator is advantageous, or a strong willingness to acquire these skills to enhance marketing strategies. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, SEO strategies, and website management. An understanding and empathy for the challenges of Metis people and communities Knowledge of Metis history in Saskatchewan and a passion for helping Metis people increase their self-sufficiency and quality of life. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently, while also participating collaboratively as part of a team. Ability to prioritize and complete deliverables with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn other programs. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Self-starter with strong sense of accountability and initiative and demonstrated flexibility and adaptability. Legal status to work in Canada.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
