We are looking for an experienced and savvy social media and community management specialist. The ideal candidate is an imaginative content creator who takes pride in what they do and works hard to make an important difference. Reporting to the Manager, Public Affairs the Marketing & Social Media Coordinator is responsible for managing the digital marketing program and social media engagement, while also supporting the implementation of the annual Marketing and Communications Plan.
Qualifications:
o
A degree/diploma in business, marketing, communications, journalism, or public relations
o
Two or more years working in marketing or communications, with experience managing multiple social media accounts
o
Social media strategy development including audience acquisition/growth and engagement
o
Social media content creation and curation
o
Strong communications skills including writing, editing, and proofreading across different media and platforms
o
Strong presentation skills in small and large group environments
o
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
o
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
o
Graphic design ability and experience would be a plus
o
Video editing ability and experience would be a plus
