Job Summary

Location: Delta, BC

To provide operational support to the marketing and product management teams. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Operations Specialist will work with all marketing and product management team members to ensure smooth operations of the department by touching and contributing to virtually all projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support local and regional sales teams with go-to-market activities, events, and materials.
  • Coordinate the development, purchase, and distribution of marketing materials.
  • Liaise with the sales and marketing teams to ensure the marketing team coordinates and supports sales activities.
  • Ensure websites are updated to reflect new marketing messaging and keep up to date with new blog postings, product information, events, and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate with social media and advertising teams to ensure product, promotion, and sales events are accurately promoted on time.
  • Ensure product launch checklists are completed with all resources and activities executed per the launch plan.
  • Lead project communications and team alignment sessions, including kickoff calls, follow-ups, campaign execution reviews, alignments, and project status.
  • Keep the stakeholders informed through timely and effective communications.
  • Coordinate the translation of marketing materials.
  • Proof marketing materials to ensure the accuracy of product information, grammar, and spelling before publication.
  • Assist with administrating the website, CRM, and Task Management system.
  • Assist with market research and data analysis.
  • Assist with the tracking of product inventory and order run rates.
  • Assist with vendor search and evaluation.
  • Assist with the tracking of marketing budgets, expenses tracking, and reconciliation,
  • Manage the flow and progress of planned and ad hoc marketing team requests.
  • Obtain scope and prioritization change approvals and flag risks or delays.
  • Proactively reach out to stakeholders to move things along
  • Align teams to processes and help onboard new members.
  • Support with the marketing quarterly planning process.
  • Work closely with the product management team to support marketing projects.
  • Increase the adoption of marketing tools by onboarding and supporting the stakeholders daily.
  • Work proactively on improving current processes.
Abilities/Skills/Knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Fluency in French would be an asset.
  • Ability to take minimal direction and work with limited supervision.
  • Must be proactive and a \xe2\x80\x9cthinker\xe2\x80\x9d \xe2\x80\x93 see the big picture.
  • Good organization skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
Education/Training
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • College-level education in Business Administration/Management an asset
  • Technical training in the development of websites would be an asset
Experience
  • Computer literacy, particularly in Excel
  • Minimum 5 years working in an office environment
Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday - 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
Friday - 7:00 am - 1:00 pm
(flexible hours)

Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000
