PURPOSE STATEMENT


The Marketing Manager (Canada Division) will be focused on leading category development, key initiatives and execution of the category operating plan. The manager position will be responsible for driving growth within the category and collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver financial objectives. The Manager role will be foundational to Canada Marketing organization with the opportunity to develop and enhance Marketing competencies required for career advancement within the Canada Division.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES


  • Lead the development of long range category Operating plan
  • P&L Management - development of general pricing, customer pricing and optimizing costs within P&L with guidance/oversight from manager
  • Collaboration with Sales channel/segment leads to support growth opportunities and/or defend base business, inclusive of promotion, trade, incentives, placement
  • Support IBP process inclusive of: demand plan inputs for category, new product review governance to achieve targets
  • Team spirit, engagement and genuine care in people success, inclusive of customer


KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE


  • University degree required, preferably in business/commerce or marketing; MBA preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience (sales, marketing or planning functions); Experience is food industry a plus.
  • Marketing experience preferred.
  • Showcases ability to be analytical \xe2\x80\x93 ability to develop financial and business acumen (P&L management, strategic planning, critical thinking).
  • Persuasive communicator with ability to influence and shape business recommendations, inclusive of strong presentation skills, written skills- both internally and externally.
  • Understanding of the Food industry.
  • Professional- team player, personable, results driven with a genuine care in other people\xe2\x80\x99s success.
