Role Summary:



The Marketing Manager is an integral part of the team here at Freedom Concepts. They are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the marketing department, including the tactical execution of content creation, design, and digital marketing. They have a passion for creative design and contribute to a team environment that promotes effective communication and efficiency. Management, training, and regular collaboration with the Marketing Lead and Media Production Specialist is essential.

General Job Functions and Responsibilities:



We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to lead strategic direction, creative development, and execution of our company's marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in project management.

The successful candidate will develop and oversee integrated marketing plans, manage corporate branding, and lead the design and production of print and digital materials. You will work alongside our talented marketing team on advertising efforts, content creation, and corporate communications, while ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.

In addition to strategic planning, you'll also coordinate tradeshows and events, collaborate with sales and production teams on promotional efforts, and lead the execution of business development campaigns. You'll manage external suppliers and key industry partnerships, negotiate contracts, and support the company's ongoing growth initiatives.

This leadership role includes managing and mentoring a growing marketing team, conducting performance reviews, and participating in company-wide planning efforts. A strong sense of creativity, attention to detail, and passion for branding and storytelling are essential to success in this role.

Physical / Environmental Requirements:



The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Participation and attendance at local events outside of regular work hours is expected from time-to-time.

Must be able to sit / stand for long periods of time at a desk.

Freedom Concepts is located inside the Perimeter, but unfortunately outside of city services such as Transit. Therefore, owning your own vehicle and having reliable transportation is strongly encouraged.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:



5+ years of Marketing / Communications experience.

Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Previous experience in a supervisory role is required.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.

Developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere)

Familiar with WordPress (CSS and HTML knowledge an asset)

Experience in managing social media campaigns (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)

Creative flare with a strong visual sense.

Strong knowledge of printing / publishing procedures and industry standards.

Flexible with the ability to pivot / alter direction depending on business requirements.

Comfortable using a DSLR camera to shoot photos and video.

Salary Range:



To be discussed during the interview process but is dependent upon years of experience and the specific skillset the successful candidate is bringing with them.
