-- a strategic, hands-on leader responsible for overseeing our marketing department and driving the digital marketing ecosystem for Nita Lake Lodge. This role supports all areas of the resort, including the Hotel, Spa, Food & Beverage outlets (The Den, The Lounge, Creekbread, Fix Cafe), and Events such as weddings and corporate groups.
The Marketing Manager is accountable for the performance and return on investment of all digital advertising channels, with a specialized focus on pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns and direct web traffic. They analyze market trends, evaluate data, and optimize digital strategies to enhance brand visibility, improve conversion, and exceed revenue goals.
This role oversees the marketing team and all aspects of digital performance, brand development, content creation, email marketing, website management, social media, and public relations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing strategies that drive revenue, engagement, and brand growth across all resort departments.
Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns, including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TripAdvisor, and email marketing.
Analyze performance data, report on KPIs and ROI, and adjust strategy based on data-driven insights.
Oversee website management, SEO strategy, and online booking funnel optimization.
Manage the marketing budget with a strong focus on digital ROI.
Maintain brand consistency across all online and offline communications.
Lead content marketing for social media, newsletters, and digital platforms.
Build and maintain relationships with media, press, and community partners.
Direct photography, videography, and creative contractors as needed.
Collaborate with leaders across the Hotel, Spa, Food & Beverage, and Events departments.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing and management, with significant experience in digital channels.
Demonstrated experience specifically managing marketing campaigns and large-scale PPC accounts is mandatory.
Post-secondary education in Marketing or a related field preferred.
Prior experience in the hotel & hospitality industry is strongly preferred.
Highly energetic, self-starter with strong analytical skills and detail-oriented approach.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills and commitment to superior customer service.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team.
Competent graphic design skills within Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
