Monarch Health Home Care Services is hiring its first marketing leader to build our growth engine from the ground up. As a hands-on individual contributor, you will own strategy
and
execution across brand, demand generation, offline advertising, content, and partnerships. You will also equip selected team members to become effective sales representatives. The Founder will rely on you as the in-house expert on how Monarch reaches and converts both clients and referral sources.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans, budgets, and KPIs.
Define positioning, messaging, and buyer personas for home-care clients and referral partners.
Digital Demand Generation
Launch and optimize SEO/SEM, paid social, email, and retargeting campaigns.
Build and maintain landing pages, lead magnets, and nurture workflows in CRM
Offline Advertising & Local Media
Plan and execute out-of-home campaigns (bus, billboard, print, radio, direct mail).
Track offline attribution and integrate results into the overall marketing dashboard.
Content & Brand
Own the editorial calendar: blogs, case studies, caregiver spotlights, video, webinars.
Manage brand voice, creative assets, and style guide.
Partnership & Community Outreach
Establish referral pipelines with various organizations including senior-living communities, and healthcare related organizations and professionals.
Represent Monarch at health fairs, senior expos, and community events.
Internal Sales Enablement & Development
Produce pitch decks, one-pagers, call scripts, and simple CRM workflows.
Train and coach selected internal staff to conduct effective sales conversations and follow-ups.
Analytics & Reporting
Build and maintain a marketing dashboard (traffic, CPL, CAC, funnel conversion).
Run A/B tests and turn insights into actionable improvements.
Vendor & Budget Management
Source and manage freelancers/agencies for design, video, OOH placement, or PR.
Monitor spend versus ROI and re-allocate budget quickly.
Required Qualifications
4-7 years of full-funnel B2C or healthcare-services marketing; startup or "first-marketer" experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success driving both digital
and
offline demand-gen campaigns with measurable ROI.
Hands-on proficiency with WordPress/CMS, GA4, Google & Meta Ads, and marketing automation/CRM
Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
Data-driven mindset; comfortable owning budgets, forecasts, and funnel analytics.
Ability to work autonomously, prioritise ruthlessly, and meet deadlines in a fast-changing environment.
Empathy for seniors, families, and caregivers.
Nice-to-Have
Home care, healthcare, or senior-living industry background.
Experience placing out-of-home media buys (transit, billboard, print).
PR or earned-media relationships in the BC healthcare community.
