The Marketing Manager supports the development and executes on the strategic marketing plan for the entire organization. This creative go-getter serves as the subject matter expert in all marketing-related activities through various channels with the objective of maintaining and managing our reputation, increasing brand awareness, improving marketing efforts while building our community. You act as a company ambassador while being responsible for both member engagement and retention and new member acquisition. You hold the company true to its brand by aligning the company\xe2\x80\x99s visuals, and messaging across all locations to ensure consistent communication from one location to another. You oversee and contribute to the company\xe2\x80\x99s overall marketing plan including strategizing, creating, and implementing, all marketing material related to social media content and campaigns, website content, advertising, in-club promotions and signage, Influencer / Ambassador programs, social and community events, local partnerships, etc. You\xe2\x80\x99re an effective multi-tasker with the ability to also launch and manage new products, services, and associated brands to meet profitability goals through effective marketing programs. You have your finger on the pulse when it comes to industry trends and topics that relate to Altea Active. You have communication superpowers that enable you to effectively communicate to the Vice President of Marketing, the senior leadership team, and the team that reports to you. You\xe2\x80\x99re going to take ownership of the time you spend with us and truly make a difference. As a Marketing Manager a typical day might include the following:

  • Development of marketing strategies for specific programming and features that require support.
  • Brainstorm and collaborate with the Vice President of Marketing for marketing ideas and campaigns
  • Create monthly marketing brief inclusive of acquisition goals, digital spend budgets, campaign messaging and focuses, sales promotions, referral promotions, departmental offers and program launches, print material needed for success of campaigns, key dates and social media messaging
  • Assist VP of Marketing in overarching brand reviews and evolutions
  • Provide assistance on press releases, contributed articles, presentations, events, and conferences
  • Create, draft, and send communications via mass email and mass SMS
  • Design, create and send member communications including newsletters, program launches, & special offers
  • Create and manage the social media profiles
  • Support SEO, social media and web traffic reporting and analytics
  • Support and promote the company\xe2\x80\x99s in-club social calendar, including community initiatives
To land this role you need to have;
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English or a related discipline.
  • 3 - 5 years\' professional experience in Marketing, Communications and/or PR agency experience required.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and ability to build rapport.
  • Strong working knowledge of communication principles and practices.
  • Skilled in direct response marketing with ability to craft integrated marketing strategies across all channels and touch points, including website, social media, SMS, Email, media and print communications
  • Must possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication with strong writing and editorial abilities.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Ads, Meta ads, Adobe, rewards programs, CRM, media monitoring and publishing software, and other public relation tools.
  • You are resourceful and have exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (required to have a minimum of Emergency First Aid and CPR certification) required prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment. CPR is to be renewed annually.
  • All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work.
