Overview Of The Opportunity

As Kids & Company continues to expand across Canada and the US, we are looking for a forward-thinking, enthusiastic, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to support both internal and external marketing and communications efforts.
As part of the Marketing Team, reporting to the Director of Marketing & Brand, this role will be responsible for the development and execution of all marketing and communications efforts including; management of brand and influencer partnerships, oversight of social media and paid advertising campaigns, and content creation for the website, newsletters, blogs, etc.,
This role will also support the marketing and communication needs of internal teams such as HR, Operations, Parent Customer Service, Learning Environments (curriculum and classrooms) and the Kidco Kitchen, and will ensure that all communications across our 120+ locations are brought to life in a consistent, professional, and compelling manner.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for the Project Management of all Marketing & Communications efforts, including; communications, events, website updates, partner/ influencer programs, social media, etc.
  • Make a big impact in a growing business by providing thoughtful communication direction, and executing flawlessly.
  • Draft and edit content across a variety of internal and external communications channels where needed, including newsletters, partnership collateral (announcements, proposals, presentations, etc.), blog articles and social media.
  • Manage the website content, and corporate communications materials such as proposals and presentations.
  • Ensure consistent use of key messages, tone of voice, and brand guidelines across all communications.
  • Oversee and lead a Marketing Coordinator, and a growing team.

What You Bring To The Role
  • Post\xe2\x80\x93secondary degree or diploma in Business administration, Marketing or Public Relations
  • 6 years of brand marketing experience
  • Experience in crafting communications for both internal and external audiences.
  • Knack for communicating complex content in a digestible way, superb communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong project and time management, organization, and leadership skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work at both the strategic level (problem-solving and generating new ideas) and at the tactical level (executing initiatives).
  • Demonstrated interest in the educational field an asset.
  • Experience managing teams an asset.
  • Photography, videography, graphic design skills preferred.
