Reporting to and working closely with the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager will focus on the execution and project management of our North American marketing strategy, taking responsibility for the development of channels, content creation, and the execution of program and product marketing plans and enhancements. You\xe2\x80\x99ll report on the analytics and will communicate internally to GKG\xe2\x80\x99s decision-makers and board, and externally to our members.As our ideal candidate, you\'re a marketing pro with the ability to think big picture while flawlessly executing on the details. You\xe2\x80\x99re digitally savvy with a deep appreciation of analytics. You\xe2\x80\x99re creative, organized, efficient, and driven to meet deadlines. You\'re an excellent writer and a pretty good project manager. And you\xe2\x80\x99ve worked for a member-based or B2B organization. Now, if you\xe2\x80\x99re all those things and have experience in the hotel/lodging industry, you might be perfect.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of marketing plans and programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
  • Plan, create and oversee the design, content, and production of all digital and print marketing materials and campaigns, with GKG\xe2\x80\x99s specific objectives across different channels.
  • Manage all online avenues of production, including website, social media pages, email campaigns, and response.
  • Analyze member insights, market trends, analysis, and best practices to contribute to the Marketing Director\xe2\x80\x99s successful strategy development.
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms to extract key insights for future campaign development and strategies, complete with proposals and recommendations on tactics.
  • Support our business development team with up-to-date and aligned marketing materials.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Degree or diploma in marketing or communications.
  • A strategic and hands-on marketing professional with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in generalist roles.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing and communications strategies, ideally for a member-based or B2B organization.
  • Experience managing a broad range of channels, including both digital and traditional (SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or advertising campaigns)
  • Solid marketing research and statistical analysis experience, with knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.)
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills; the ability to craft compelling and creative content.
  • Organized, efficient and on the ball; able to balance strategic and tactical priorities and deliver against a range of competing deadlines.
  • A kind, positive and collaborative colleague.
Assets:
  • Hotel / lodging industry knowledge and experience.
  • Experience with sustainability certification programs.
  • Experience developing marketing and communication strategies and material through a sustainability lens.
  • Bilingualism (English and French).
