Job Description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive patient acquisition, retention and overall brand growth across multiple dental locations. This role bridges marketing and operations ensuring that marketing initiatives align with practice goals, support operational efficiency and enhance the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities



Strategic Planning & Brand Management



Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to increase patient flow and revenue across dental practices. Ensure consistent branding, messaging and patient experience across all touchpoints (digital, print, in-office). Analyze local markets to identify growth opportunities, competitive positioning, and community engagement strategies. Lead campaigns to drive new patient appointments and reactivation of existing patients.

Digital Marketing & Advertising



Manage digital marketing channels including SEO, Google Ads, social media, email marketing and reputation management. Oversee website performance, online listings and patient review platforms (Google, Yelp, Healthgrades, etc.). Track KPIs such as cost per lead, conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).

Operations Alignment



Partner with regional and practice managers to align marketing initiatives with operational goals and capacity. Provide marketing support for new practice openings, provider onboarding and service line expansions. Ensure all marketing efforts comply with dental industry regulations, HIPAA and brand standards.

Analytics & Reporting



Monitor marketing performance metrics and produce regular reports for leadership. Conduct ROI analysis for campaigns and recommend budget adjustments as needed. Use patient management system data (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental) to inform marketing strategies.

Team & Vendor Management



Manage relationships with creative agencies, digital vendors, and community partners. Lead and mentor junior marketing staff or coordinators. Oversee production of marketing materials, events, and sponsorships.

Qualifications



Education & Experience



Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in healthcare or dental operations. Experience in multi-location or DSO environments strongly preferred.

Skills & Competencies



Strong understanding of patient acquisition funnels and healthcare consumer behavior. Proficient with digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads, CRM systems, marketing automation, etc.). Data-driven with excellent analytical and project management skills. Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures and practice management systems is a plus.
