Job Title Marketing Manager

Summary High-Level Accountabilities:-

Development and implementation of annual marketing plan and budget for the mall; with the ultimate goal of increasing customer traffic and driving sales growth



Marketing areas of responsibilities include:

\xc2\xb7 Marketing of Dixie Outlet Mall including: Advertising, PR, Special Events

\xc2\xb7 Media Strategy & Placement Execution

\xc2\xb7 Market Research

\xc2\xb7 Manage Guest Exp\xc3\xa9rience/Visual Merchandising

Other responsibilities include, but not limited to:

\xc2\xb7 Creation of special events, promotions and marketing programs to enhance the profile of the shopping centre that meet the needs of centre\xe2\x80\x99s retailers and the community

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for all aspects of the advertising & media programs including developing a media plan/rationale and market research

\xc2\xb7 Direct the creative development and execution of the centre\xe2\x80\x99s branding programs to promote Promenade as a lifestyle shopping destination and community hub

\xc2\xb7 Development of strong local marketing initiatives for the centre to address the specific and unique needs of the community

\xc2\xb7 Liaise with existing and new-to-market retailers to support their business promotions

\xc2\xb7 Work alongside Specialty Leasing Manager to identify partnership opportunities and a visual merchandising strategy for vacancies to add vibrancy to the shopping experience

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for the development and direction of the Guest Services department and personnel

\xc2\xb7 Oversee the implementation, operation and promotion of the centre\xe2\x80\x99s gift card program

\xc2\xb7 Support the management and leasing teams in developing materials and tactics to promote Promenade Mall to future retailers

\xc2\xb7 Oversee promotion fund billings, approve invoices, and ensure spending is adhering to budgeted amounts

\xc2\xb7 Prepare monthly marketing reports and budget updates

\xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience Required

The successful candidate will possess:

\xc2\xb7 A post-secondary education with a minimum 5 years of marketing experience. Retail or shopping centre related experience is preferred.

\xc2\xb7 Advertising experience (digital marketing, social media, PR, traditional media).

\xc2\xb7 Proven working knowledge of social media platforms, internet/web, mobile & associated marketing techniques.

\xc2\xb7 Experience and a good understanding of special events, community relations, media relations

\xc2\xb7 Self-motivated, innovative and able to deal within a fast-paced environment.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to analyze demographics and related research information.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of visual merchandising, sales, and retail operations is an asset.

\xc2\xb7 As an integral part of the property management team, interface with all members of the property team and contribute to collective goals, objectives and events.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work after hours and on weekends for special events intermittently as necessary

\xc2\xb7 Computer literate \xe2\x80\x93 Excel, Word, Adobe Creative Suite or other graphics programs
