As the Marketing Manager for the Dempster\'s Masterbrand (#1 Bread brand in Canada) and corresponding Pantry and Buns&Rolls portfolio, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote and drive market share for Dempster\'s and product portfolio within the Pantry and B&R segments. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting market research, and overseeing marketing campaigns to ensure the success of the Dempster\'s brand in the Canadian marketplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary responsibility is to develop and implement marketing plans for the Dempster\'s brand within the Bimbo Canada portfolio to achieve the overall objectives, such as share leadership, volume & profit targets.
  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social, instore etc.)
  • Lead overall long-term strategy, including product innovation, pricing, and merchandising
  • Manage day-to-day pantry and B&R portfolio activity and problem resolution with key functional areas across all regions including: customer brands, purchasing, consumer affairs, master files, finance, product development, regulatory, quality assurance, sales, operations and distribution.
  • Responsible for national brand portfolio competitive, market (Nielsen) and financial (COGNOS/SAP) report development & analysis including business review support and development.
  • Analyze budget, profit and loss statements, and additional sales, market, competitive & trend data to identify brand portfolio opportunities, and highlight issues with accompanying action recommendations.
  • Development & presentation of brand portfolio internal communication plan, Playbook (planning meetings with Sales), project presentations and product/ promotion launch Key Account presentations.
  • Manage one direct report who is also responsible for customer brands and collaborate across the marketing team coaching and influencing their support across the remaining Dempster\'s portfolio of products.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

\xc2\xb7 Proven experience in marketing roles, preferably within the consumer packaged goods or FMCP industry

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication, leadership and project management

\xc2\xb7 Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated ability to develop and commercialize and execute product launches

\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights

\xc2\xb7 Strong leadership and ability to build cross-functional and cross-regional teams to achieve shared goals (often including sales, manufacturing, product development, purchasing, distribution & finance)

\xc2\xb7 Ability to lead outside agencies such as advertising & promotion agencies

\xc2\xb7 Adaptable, persistent, strong initiative, results oriented

\xc2\xb7 Adept with Microsoft Office, Web navigation, COGNOS & SAP

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities, with creative problem solving
