Job Description

MARKETING MANAGER



The ideal candidate will have marketing experience in the mining sector and be responsible for creating and executing our client's marketing strategies. You will account manage as well as simultaneously lead marketing campaigns, evaluate marketing performance metrics, and collaborate with internal and external groups. You will be able to deal with pressure and stress well, be adaptable to workflow, have strong time management and excellent communication skills including attention to detail.

Responsibilities and Duties


? Account management
? Social media management and execution (creating content calendar, designing content and scheduling posts)
? Video filming and editing (basic level
? Webinar execution (including pre and postproduction)
? Disseminating news releases during and outside of office hours
? Marketing planning, strategy, budgeting
? Campaign management and tracking KPIs, including reviewing reports
? Qualifying and vetting various advertising opportunities and providing recommendations
? Client communications and consulting
? Developing marketing materials including fact sheets, presentations, and websites
? Conference preparations including booth banners, swag and any additional investor materials that may be required
? Travel to conferences as required by client
? Corporate branding
? Developing email campaigns and journeys
? Compiling client monthly summary reports
? Maintaining office supplies
? Flexible working hours during busy season is required (requires some weekends)

Qualifications and Skills


? 10-15 years minimum of experience working in a professional marketing role (agency experience is preferred)
? Previous experience working as a marketing professional in the mining sector is preferred
? Post-Secondary Degree from a recognized institution in marketing and communications
? Positive attitude and strong work ethic
? Strong English in both written and oral communication
? Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
? Proven ability to collaborate, lead and negotiate with a wide variety of people
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
? Exceptional time management skills with the ability to deliver on-time results in a fast-paced environment
? Ability to adapt to changing requirements and competing priorities
? Proactive with taking on assignments and additional responsibilities
? Advanced skills in graphic design
? Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
? Advanced skills in MailChimp
? Advanced skills in social media (Hootsuite)
? Advanced skills in video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar)
? Advanced skills in Zoom conferencing and webinars
