Position Summary/Objective: The Marketing Finance Manager will play a key role in developing and collaborating with Marketing on the brand building blocks for AOP and 3 years Strat Plan, Innovations P&Ls, New Channel Development and Price-Pack Architecture. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Brand team on developing the 3-year strategic and annual plans.
  • Lead monthly margin analysis by brand (market, PPG, channel, etc.), identifying opportunities and risks, and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the portfolio sku optimization process.
  • Support the Brand team on developing the price pack architecture strategy to optimize in-market positioning and drive revenue and profit targets.
  • Lead the financial review and inputs of the innovation launches across the full stage-gate process.
  • Define marketing financial analytic needs and work with finance and IT to develop and maintain dashboards and data visualization tools.
  • Govern the marketing budget, working with the brand and digital teams to optimize spend, maximize ROI and brand health. Regular reviews of the marketing spend.
  • Support the annual and quarterly forecasting process collaborating with the Commercial Finance /FP&A teams to support measurement, reporting and analysis where required.
Education / Qualifications Experience and Skills:
  • Undergraduate degree required, preferably a BA/BS in marketing, data science, math, finance, or Business Administration. MBA or other graduate degree is strongly preferred.
  • At least 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in CPG/retail or other consumer facing organization working in revenue management, marketing planning, sales planning, and/ or finance.
  • Proven expertise in revenue growth management and price pack architecture.
  • Experience developing business plans / business cases; strategic thinking (forward-looking vision and anticipating of future needs).
  • Extensive knowledge of retail customer channels, go-to-market strategies, and strong data mining skills on Consumption POS data including syndicated sources like AC Nielsen
  • Excellent P&L and financial acumen
  • Excellent data analytic expertise with the proven ability to translate data into insights and recommendations that drive business results.

  • Approachability / Interpersonal savvy; Strong interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills and ownership mentality. With the ability to balance designing, delegating, and rolling up your sleeves.
  • Team player with ability to work effectively across organizations and cross culturally interfacing with all levels of management; possessing the strong ability to influence.
  • Self- starter individual, with entrepreneurial spirit who enjoys working in start-up like work environment.
  • Very comfortable with change and ambiguity, adaptable and flexible to work with different stakeholders.
  • Through interactions shows genuine effectiveness at developing trust internally and externally.
  • Operates with agility with strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and simplification skills.
