Your primary focus will be to drive demand to generate sales pipeline and bookings. In pursuit of this objective, you will:xc2xb7 Deliver an optimal visitor experience in alignment with the event goalsxc2xb7 Manage external vendors/partners and convention center relationships to best position our brand for successxc2xb7 Deliver a streamlined event experience for ATS Life Sciences Systems event staff.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:xc2xb7 Lead the planning, execution, and post-event reporting and follow-up for all globally located ATS Life Sciences Systems events. Events include, but are not limited to virtual and physical trade shows, summits, conferences, customer events, open houses, warehouse tours, lunch & learnsxc2xb7 Negotiate event contracts, complete registrations, select appropriate vendors and contractors, secure necessary insurance, place purchase orders, approve invoices, etc.xc2xb7 Form and lead event teamsxc2xb7 Establish project plan for events including theme, key message(s), goals and metrics, tasks, resources and responsibilities, equipment, schedule (including during event), etc.xc2xb7 Prepare booth design, briefing package, lead follow-up, post-event evaluation, etc.xc2xb7 Develop event-specific promotional plan(s) including social media marketing plan(s)xc2xb7 Work cross-functionally with the marketing team to deliver all event-related marketing collateral, graphics, website content, etc.xc2xb7 Create, manage and track the annual marketing event budgetxc2xb7 Manage event logistics, including materials, equipment, displays, misc. event assets, meetings, catering, audio-visual, shipping, installation, teardown, etc.xc2xb7 Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for event staff and 3rd party partnersxc2xb7 Report on all event KPIs, objectives and goals, lead generation outcomes and ROIxc2xb7 Report regularly on projects and progress, opportunities and roadblocksxc2xb7 Recommend and execute annual events strategy in support of the sales strategyxc2xb7 Maintain and manage an inventory of event assetsxc2xb7 Select and manage 3rd event party partners including but not limited to booth and assets purchase or rental, design, graphics, video, presentations, giveaways, in-booth entertainment, on-site catering, reservations, event planners, etc.xc2xb7 Collaborate with other ATS businesses and their marketing teams for co-hosted eventsxc2xb7 Help coordinate promotional program for marketing and salesxc2xb7 As needed and independent of events, collaborate with the marketing and sales team and others to produce catchy, persuasive, and engaging original collateral, content, assets, etc.xc2xb7 Create requisitions for purchase orders and submit all Marketing invoices to JDE for approvalQualificationsA post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing or related disciplinexc2xb7 Minimum of five to seven years of marketing experience in a complex, global industrial or B2B organization, AND in event management and/or event marketingxc2xb7 Certifications in events planning and management, and/or project management are considered an assetxc2xb7 Demonstrated success with:o Managing several major events simultaneouslyo Working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlineso Flexing and adapting to changing prioritieso Cross-functional team collaborationo Must be process-driven and detail-orientedxc2xb7 Excellent organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skillsxc2xb7 Proven track record of tradeshow, event execution, and delivering leadsxc2xb7 Must be process-driven and detail-orientedxc2xb7 Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skillsxc2xb7 Disciplined self-starter and independent worker; able to work from homexc2xb7 Ability to travel globallyxc2xb7 Demonstrated logistics planning and management abilitiesxc2xb7 Adobe Creative Suite graphic design experience (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) a bonusxc2xb7 Experience in the life sciences industry an asset, but not a requirementxc2xb7 Excellent command of English language, oral and writtenxc2xb7 Event Portfolio available upon requestIf you're excited about this role, but do not meet all the qualifications listed above, you are still encouraged to applyWhy YOU should join our ATS Life Sciences Systems team:We value our PEOPLE - The foundation of a great company is having the best team which is why we continuously work to develop, engage, empower and energize our people.
