Role Overview:
We are looking for a Marketing & Events Coordinator with relevant experience to support our marketing initiatives and lead the planning and execution of company events. This role requires a strong blend of marketing expertise and event management skills to elevate brand awareness, engage target audiences, and ensure the seamless execution of both in-person and virtual events. It will also support the communication efforts of our Company, its products, and key projects--playing a critical role in our day-to-day operations, the achievement of strategic goals, and the long-term growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Coordination:
Developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and print platforms.
Create marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, email newsletters, web content, and social media posts.
Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and CRM platforms.
Maintain marketing databases and assist with lead generation efforts.
Oversee budget planning and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective marketing initiatives with maximum return on investment (ROI).
Event Planning & Coordination:
Plan, organize, execute, and evaluate small- and large-scale supplier and customer-facing events such as conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, product launches, golf tournaments, hiring fairs, promotional events, meetings, and more including, but not limited to: Designing event functions; Event logistics management; Booking dinners and meetings; Catering arrangements for lunch and learns, customer visits; Coordination of sales events, including promotional events with suppliers and customers.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Parts, Service, and external vendors to align marketing strategies with business goals, support campaign execution, and ensure consistent brand messaging.
Capture high-quality event and behind-the-scenes photos for marketing and internal use and maintain an organized image library.
Brand Management:
Develop and implement marketing, advertising, and event strategies across all channels to boost brand visibility and drive audience engagement.
Oversee the concept development, sourcing, ordering, and distribution of creative promotional merchandise and all brand-related items, including business cards, invitations, and other marketing collateral.
Manage and update content across company platforms, including brand consistency.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Previous relevant work experience (1+ year) and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Operations, or Sales (Marketing preferred).
Strong knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools, with demonstrated expertise in digital, social, and email marketing platforms, channels, and best practices.
Good understanding of office management and operations.
Demonstrating a track record of successful marketing plan execution, event management, and digital marketing initiatives.
Proven ability to multitask, stay organized, and run multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on budget management, productivity, and meeting deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer-oriented approach.
Event planning, design, and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits.
Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
A clear, concise writing style and an eye for details.
Knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications CRM tools, Online analytics, Google AdWords, Mailchimp, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. would be an asset.
Basic knowledge of SEO/SEM and digital advertising is an asset.
Demonstrated industry-specific knowledge, especially in HVAC, construction, or related fields, providing a contextual understanding of the market, competitors, and customer needs is considered an asset.
