We're looking for an energetic, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team at
Toronto Life Financial Group (TLFG)
and its sister company,
Avenue Insurance.
In this role, you'll create engaging, trend-savvy content and help execute day-to-day marketing initiatives across social media, digital communications, website management, brand collateral, and events.
This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who loves storytelling, stays ahead of trends, and knows how to connect with audiences through social media, video, and digital marketing. You'll bring fresh ideas, manage projects from concept to completion, and play a key role in helping both brands grow their online presence and community impact.

Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Management
? Oversee all brand social media accounts
? Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar (2+ accounts)
? Film, edit, and publish content (minimum 6 reels and 7 stories weekly)
? Stay updated on platform trends and algorithm changes
? Research and initiate brand-appropriate collaborations and influencer partnerships
? Create and manage paid advertising campaigns (Meta Ads Manager)
2. Website Management
? Regularly update website content
? Write and publish blog content monthly
? Design webpages when needed
3. Digital Communications & Graphic Design
? Create and schedule email marketing campaigns (product launches, newsletters, announcements).
? Create digital assets: Email Signature, etc.
? Monitor email performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions)
4. Events Management & Promotions
? Research and register for local events, expos, and trade shows.
? Coordinate logistics for internal events:
? Community service (e.g. volunteering initiatives ? food drives etc.)
? Organize an annual client appreciation event
? Develop promotional campaigns for each event (email + social)
? Create all event-related marketing materials:
? Signage
? Booklets & programs
? Branded giveaways/goodies bags
? Custom event apparel
? Liaise with venues, vendors, sponsors, and volunteers
? Track event budget, timeline, and post-event performance
5. Monthly Analytics Reviews
? Update Monthly Spreadsheet for Meetings
Qualifications
? 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
? Strong understanding of major social media platforms and content creation tools
? Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
? Familiarity with email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Zoho)
? Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite
? Excellent project management and organizational skills
? Strong written and verbal communication
? Self-starter with a collaborative mindset
Bonus Skills
? Photography and/or video editing experience
? Experience with paid media or Meta Ads Manager
? Event planning or coordination background
