Job Summary

:
We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the planning, development, and execution of marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in video editing, videography, and graphic design, paired with strong storytelling and strategic thinking skills. This role calls for a creative professional who can balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities

:

Content Creation & Multimedia



Develop and edit multimedia content, including videos, photography, and graphics, to support campaigns, events, and digital platforms.

Draft copy for web, social media, and print materials that communicates Build a Dream's mission and programs.

Capture on-site media (photo, video, live updates) at events for promotional use.

Campaign Support & Execution



Assist in the creation and execution of integrated marketing strategies across web, social, email, and print.

Coordinate campaign deliverables, including scheduling posts, managing email lists, and tracking audience engagement.

Work with the team to deliver timely promotional content for programs and events.

Digital Marketing & Analytics



Manage social media calendars and post scheduling across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok).

Monitor campaign and social media performance using analytics tools, providing reports and insights to optimize results.

Support digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, paid social) under the direction of the Marketing Manager.

Brand & Storytelling



Maintain brand standards and consistent messaging across all platforms and materials.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create compelling storytelling content that highlights impact, partnerships, and initiatives.

Ensure visuals and messaging reflect the organization's values and goals.

Research & Professional Development



Stay current on marketing trends, tools, and best practices to inform strategies.

Conduct market research to identify opportunities to improve audience reach and engagement.

Provide input on new tools and creative approaches to strengthen marketing efforts.

Qualifications

:

Education

:

Required: Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or relevant experience.

Experience

:

Required: 1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.

Skills

:

Strong content creation and writing skills, with experience developing engaging digital content. Experience with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalent). Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent). Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong emphasis on storytelling. Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

Some travel may be required to attend events or meetings related to marketing activities. Occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary based on campaign deadlines or events.
