Marketing Coordinator





We are looking for a creative and ambitious Marketing Coordinator to take the lead on all things marketing at Maverick Games. This role is ideal for someone with a few solid years of hands-on marketing experience who is ready to step up, drive strategy, and execute campaigns in a fast-paced startup environment. You'll be the person shaping how our brand shows up in the market and making sure our marketing efforts translate directly into growth.



Key Responsibilities:





Lead the development and execution of our marketing strategy across digital, social, email, and other channels. Build and evolve our brand positioning and storytelling, ensuring consistency across all campaigns and platforms. Conduct market research to spot trends, understand competitors, and uncover opportunities to grow our audience. Manage and grow our social media presence, from content creation to community engagement. Create and distribute marketing materials such as newsletters and promotional campaigns. Work directly with design and creative resources to develop compelling content. Track and analyze performance of campaigns, using data and insights to continuously improve results. Manage and optimize our CRM and marketing database to improve targeting and campaign outcomes. Act as the go-to person for all marketing initiatives, working closely with leadership to align efforts with business goals.




Qualifications:





Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree is preferred. 3+ years of experience in marketing, with proven experience running campaigns across multiple channels. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data and metrics. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling. Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and marketing tools (Google/Meta ad platforms, CRM, email marketing, social media management). Proficient in SEO, Google AdWords, and other digital marketing tools Entrepreneurial mindset -- comfortable working independently, wearing many hats, and moving quickly. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.




Nice-to-Haves:





Experience with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva). Familiarity with AI tools for marketing. Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic web development. Experience with content marketing and copywriting. Experience in managing a contact center or call center is a plus
