Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for leading the planning, development, and execution of Trillium's marketing strategies and campaigns. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, ensuring that our brand message is clear, consistent, and impactful across all channels. The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with leadership, sales, and operations teams to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning: Develop clear, effective strategies aligned with Trillium's business goals and customer needs.
Campaign Execution & Management: Plan, launch, and optimize marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event platforms, on time and within budget.
Content Creation & Branding: Ability to create engaging digital content, including graphics, copy, and campaign assets, with a strong eye for detail and brand consistency.
Digital Marketing & Analytics: Leverage SEO, social media, and email marketing while using analytics to measure performance and ROI. Comfortable building reports and dashboards to measure campaign performance, customer engagement, and ROI.
Team Leadership & Collaboration: Support and motivate team members, collaborating across departments to achieve campaign success.
Innovation & Market Awareness: Stay on top of floral industry trends and introduce creative ideas to strengthen the brand and expand market reach. Plan and promote seasonal campaigns tied to industry events, holidays, and customer needs.
Budgeting & Resource Management: Manage marketing budgets responsibly, negotiate with vendors, and ensure resources are used efficiently.
Professionalism & Accountability: Represent Trillium with integrity and uphold company values in all interactions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B or wholesale distribution.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms such as Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere), Canva, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp/Constant Contact (or similar).
Proven ability to analyze data and apply insights to improve performance.
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
Creative thinker with strong organizational and project management abilities.
Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.
Experience in wholesale, distribution, or e-commerce environments considered an asset.
