Job Description

About Plexcon Construction Inc.

Plexcon Construction Inc. is a fast-growing construction company at the forefront of Toronto's housing evolution. With a rich 15-year history in building luxury custom homes, our focus has shifted to maximizing urban density and value. We specialize in converting single-family homes into modern duplexes, triplexes, and fourplexes, as well as transforming underutilized garages into stylish laneway suites and garden homes across the Greater Toronto Area. We are a dynamic team dedicated to quality craftsmanship and innovative building solutions.

The Role

We are seeking a creative and analytical Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Brand Director, you will play a crucial role in executing our marketing strategy, creating compelling content, and expanding our reach within key demographics. This is a hands-on role perfect for a self-starter who is passionate about digital marketing, content creation, and real estate development.

Key Responsibilities

Assist on conducting research on industry trends, competitor activity, and target demographics to help shape and refine marketing strategies. Develop and execute search engine optimization (SEO) strategies, including writing engaging blog articles and collaborating with external publication companies for backlinking campaigns. Spearhead growth marketing initiatives targeting our Mandarin and Cantonese-speaking clientele, creating culturally relevant campaigns and content. Manage day-to-day social media engagement, responding to follower comments and direct messages in a timely and professional manner to foster community growth. Assist in the creation of compelling content for our social media channels (Instagram, Tiktok, Linkedin, Rednote, Wechate and Youtube) with our team on active construction sites.

Requirements & Qualifications

Demonstrated success in managing and growing brand social media platforms. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in videography, photography and/or graphic design with a portfolio showcasing your work. Valid G license and ability to drive to our construction sites throughout downtown Toronto

Nice to Haves

Proven experience creating content for and managing Chinese social media platforms (e.g., Little Redbook/Xiaohongshu, WeChat). Professional fluency (written and verbal) in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position that offers flexibility. Our team works collaboratively, and this role will require you to be on-site or in our Richmond Hill office up to two days per week. We believe in working with a purpose, so in-office days are typically reserved for team meetings, training sessions, and collaborative projects. This job will also require to meet our team on-site at our construction projects in downtown Toronto for content creation purposes.

Why Join Plexcon?

Be part of a rapidly growing company making a tangible impact on the Toronto housing market. Opportunity for professional growth and to take ownership of key marketing functions. A flexible and supportive team environment.
