Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications, the
Marketing Coordinator
supports the planning and execution of marketing initiatives across the organization. This role plays a key part in coordinating marketing events, supporting the development of sales materials and proposals, and creating and scheduling social media content. The Marketing Coordinator also conducts customer research, maintains and populates project profiles, and assists with the development of internal and external marketing content.
What will do you as a
Marketing Coordinator
?
Support with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing tasks such as event planning, social media, market research, video, and content marketing
Oversee marketing coordination of events, including liaising with internal teams and external vendors, managing registrations, developing and executing work back schedules, conducting post-event debriefs, while tracking budget
Support in the coordination of corporate sales and marketing memberships and associations, including list maintenance and quarterly touch points with key stakeholders
Assist with the management and tracking of the annual marketing budget to support promotional spending in line with the annual marketing plan
Support key projects related to Marketing Communications, including social media (paid and organic), email campaigns, internal announcements, collateral development etc.
Liaise with external vendors on key projects, as required
Development of soft content on our company intranet, Sparklife
Assist with the maintenance of marketing documents and other sales material, including but not limited to sell sheets, templates, presentations, and other marketing materials
Other duties as assigned

Have strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate initiative as a self-starter and independent worker
Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint, and Teams
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
Graphic design experience using industry-standard tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

Experience - Previous experience in a similar marketing role considered an asset
Education - Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Advertising or Communications
